We are two housemates, based in Brighton, England.

We share a love of seafood, sushi and cake, but will never agree on whether mushrooms are the food of the gods or the work of the devil.

Nom-R is half-English, half-Sicilian and has spent time living in both countries. She has a violent allergy to tuna and would happily put mushrooms in every dish she prepares, if Nom-J would let her.

Nom-J hails from Waterford, Ireland and relocated to England in 2008. She insists her favourite food is her mother’s roast beef, but loves Italian cooking and loathes mushrooms and uncooked tomatoes.

Both are female, roller derby girls and in their mid-20s.
